For Patients

I am a consultant ENT surgeon with over 30 years’ experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions, and have a wealth of experience in treating both adults and children. I have had a broad training in ENT related specialities, including plastic surgery, neurosurgery and upper gastro-intestinal surgery, which has enabled me to provide a holistic approach in the management of patients. I hope you will find this website helpful in deciding on your first step to improving your condition. Please do not hesitate to contact me via my secretary to find out more.

I conduct consultations at BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Harrow, Middlesex and BMI Syon Clinic, Brentford, Middlesex. I carry out 2 clinics per week at each venue. During the consultation I try to determine all the concerns you may have regarding your health relating to your visit. I pride myself in having a gentle manner and I listen to patients, as I find that obtaining a clear history is a very important tool in the management of patients’ conditions. I do not rush patients and I like them to feel relaxed and at ease during the consultation. If necessary, I will perform diagnostic procedures in the clinic during the consultation. I will then arrange any important investigations in order to make or confirm a diagnosis.

I have a wide breadth of knowledge in ENT and related conditions and will aim to treat the majority of patients myself. However, I may diagnose a condition which falls outside of my areas of expertise. I work with a large number of very experienced and excellent specialist in other fields and regularly refer patients to them for assistance. I also work with a number of para-medical therapists and clinicians who help in the diagnosis and management of patients’ conditions. These include Audiologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Hearing Therapists, Physiotherapists (including Balance Therapists), Psychologists and Counsellors.

I have a wide range of treatments that I employ in the management of ENT conditions. Where possible I will use the least invasive method to improve your illness. Often providing the patient with a clear diagnosis and explanation of the condition will go a long way to improving the situation. I will offer advice based on many years of clinical practice. If necessary I will carry out a non-invasive treatment-procedure during the clinic visit, such as micro-suction of blocked ears, removal of foreign bodies from the ears, nose and throat, drainage of ear canal abscesses, nasal cautery for nose bleeds, the Epley manoeuvre for positional vertigo and aspiration of neck and Thyroid cysts. Before carrying the procedure out I will carefully explain what the treatment entails, its benefits and any relevant disadvantages or down-sides.
